I just changed a light bulb! I know that doesn't seem particularly butch, but if you knew our light bulbs, you would all be duly impressed. Like, submerged into the ceiling and encased in several layers of hideous glass. Ugh. My parents hired a "lighting specialist" for their last renovation, and he was a resounding dud. How utterly unsurprising for a blue-collar worker.

In other more interesting news, I just booked my flights etc. for an upcoming trip to Sydney. Huzzah. I'm looking forward to your nice cooler weather, abundance of decent food/coffee at MUCH cheaper prices, and adequate wardrobe additions. Do not disappoint me.
